“Beautiful house, very nice area to enjoy walking. Unfortunately, there was something wrong with the thermostat in the house. Waited all afternoon for a mechanic who did not come. Reception closed next day. Emergency number called several times, but no one answered. Handy as an emergency number.”

“Rented a spacious holiday home through Belvilla in the iSchoonhovense land villa park in Hollandscheveld, Drenthe. Small-scale set up ideal for those seeking tranquility .. Also had a wonderful holiday due to the beautiful weather. For cycling enthusiasts there is a spacious shed at the house to place your bicycle and other things. Parking for 2 cars. There is plenty of closet space in the house. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. Everything looked clean and well-kept. Only downside is the lack of a full-length mirror for the ladies.”

“On arrival there was literally nothing cleaned and the old bedding from the previous holidaymakers was still there. It was said to refund the cleaning fee as we had to clean it ourselves. But I haven't received it yet. Furthermore, the house was fine, nothing to complain about.”

“Great house for vacation. Lots of space around the house. Shed in which a cargo bike fits and also our roof box. What little things were wrong with it; not much storage space for clothes in any room. In the bathroom, some more shelf and/or cupboard space was also desired. Rotary knob of the tap was broken, so was a cord of the roller blind, those kinds of small things should be paid more attention to. The grass is mowed every week but the mowed grass remains. That means that you cannot sit or lie in the grass or walk through it so quickly (then you will find it everywhere in the house).”

“A very nice house which is neatly decorated. The park is still very new, so the vegetation is still small. The surroundings are very beautiful. There is a forest right next to the park. The only point of attention is the beds. These are too hard even though I am a bit heavier”

“We have booked for 4 people + 1 dog. That was spacious enough. Everything clean, enough space in bathrooms and bedrooms. Refrigerator on the tight side, because if you have to get rid of drinks and groceries (especially in the summer) and you would book for 6 people, this refrigerator (table model) is too small. We have been able to put our drinks on the garden table in the cold. Plates, cutlery, glass, pans, dishes, etc. all in order. Walk distance to swimming lake and catering facilities at the lake. Due to corona measures we ordered food and this was delivered on time. Lovely forest walks. And we made nice car trips to the Hunebedden, among others, there was obviously nothing open, unfortunately!”

“Beautiful, new houses with a beautiful recreational lake on the other side. You can walk well there. Slightly less suitable for bicycles; that area is actually only beyond Hoogeveen. Mattresses on the beds are quite hard.”

These detached villas can be found in the small-scale, but spacious Villaparc Schoonhovenseland. They are suitable for 6 people and they're located on spacious plots. The accommodations are comfortably furnished and the bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor are a solution for less agile people.
