“We are in a small picturesque house beautiful surroundings between all that water with those bridges you can enjoy going to Middelburg or another nice city unfortunately the weather is not too good so that the boats literally fall into the water today last chance to try a boat trip at boatrental they didn't make it difficult to switch the day .... but everything on everything highly recommended”

“Fortunately the house was easy to find due to the clear house numbers. The accommodation looks very nice from the outside, just as expected. On the inside it needs a little freshening up. It smells a little musty inside. Although we had the windows open all week, it still smells musty. Everything is a bit dated, but it does what it should do! The area is beautiful. If you come because you need peace and beautiful surroundings, you are in the right place here. Walk or sail, everything is possible in peace and you will see many beautiful things around you. You can even rent bikes from the owner if you want. The owner is open for a chat and is very friendly.”

About the holiday home

This holiday home is situated in the beautiful village of Dwarsgracht, 3 kilometres west of Giethoorn. The charming cottage has 1 bedroom and is therefore very suitable for two persons.

Sail through the old centre of Giethoorn or explore the rest of National Park the Weerribben-Wieden. In this National Park you can enjoy beautifully overgrown banks with special plants and animals, vast reed lands and swamp forests. Fishing enthusiasts can throw out a fishing rod. And in the winter months, this area lends itself well to beautiful ice skating tours. The National Park also has various walking and cycling routes. The old centre of Giethoorn is only ten minutes by bike from the holiday home.

The interior of the cottage is simple and cozy. The house has a living room with TV, a kitchen and a pantry, a bathroom with shower and toilet and a furnished private terrace. There is also a cot and high chair available.

From 1 April to 1 November you can rent a boat, this can be arranged directly with the owner.
