About the holiday home
This lovely home, perfect for five people, is located on a large beach plot, by lake Skeingesjön. The house has a wonderful view of the lake and comes with its own boat dock, complete with a small rowing boat. There are opportunities to go fishing as well, though a fishing license is required, further information can be found within the house.
The large, roofed terrace offers a lovely view of the lake. This is the perfect place to relax and grill dinner after a day of activities. Please feel free to use the grill! The house has a large living room area, including a TV, complete with Viasat channels. A perfect room for spending time together at the end of a day out on the lake, or in the local town of Osby.
The holiday home comes with two bedrooms, the master bedroom is suitable for two people. There is a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed and a single bed. The kitchen is also spacious and comes with almost everything you could need. The single bathroom has a toilet, a wash basin, and a shower. The basement,which includes a laundry room, can be accessed via staircase from the outside of the house.
The garden is a great place for fun and games and of course is perfect for simply relaxing by the lake. For those interested in playing golf, Vittsjö Golfklubb is within reach, only 20 kilometres away. In Osby you will find the Brio Toy Museum, which also includes a Barbie doll collection as well as a collection of Santa Clause dolls.
Shortly after booking holiday accommodation through DanCenter you will receive your booking confirmation by post. This confirmation constitutes your rental agreement and contains all necessary information. On the first page you will find information the addresses of your holiday home and the key pick up place, as well as a route description. At the bottom of the page there is a detachable post card for ordering miscellaneous extras, which can be useful to have while on holiday. On the following pages you will find the invoice for the stay you have booked complete with transfer order/inpayment form, stating the due date.
On arrival at the key pick up point, you will be asked to present your rental agreement whereupon you will be handed your key. More often than not electricity, water and other charges are included in the rental amount. Where this is not the case you will also receive an electricity-envelope on which the meter readings of all consumption dependant expenses are to be noted upon arrival as well as departure.
Notice of arrival
If you wish to rent a boat or engine however, you need to give notice no less than a month before arrival.
Time of arrival
Arrival can take place from 4 p.m. on the day the rental period commences. If you expect to arrive at a different time please arrange this with the contact person in advance. Contact information can be found on your rental agreement.
Extras
On the detachable post card at the bottom of the rental agreement, miscellaneous extras can be ordered - however only those stated in the description of your holiday home.
All holiday homes are equipped with all kitchen utensils necessary for the maximum amount of persons, which the house can room. Bed linen, dish cloths, table cloths etc. can in some places be rented.
On the post card you can also order the final cleaning, if this is mentioned in the description of your holiday home.
All extras must be ordered in conjunction with sending the notice of arrival no less than 14 days before commencement of the rental period. If you wish to rent a boat or engine however you need to give notice no less than a month before arrival.
Pets
If you have rented a holiday home in which pets are permitted please remember that it is a lengthy and quite difficult process to obtain all necessary permits for the import of pets to Sweden. Therefore please contact the Swedish Tourist Board or embassy well in advance.
Ferry connections and bridge crossings
If you have booked a holiday home in Sweden you can either go via Copenhagen across the Øresund Bridge or take a ferry. The bridge toll is 225,- Danish Kroner/crossing.
