Begin your search for a holiday home on Møn and Bogø here:
The island of Møn is one of the most beautiful Danish islands with long sandy beaches, bird sanctuaries, big woods and protected nature areas. The coastal landscapes invite you to a variety of nature types offering new and exciting views al the time. This area is made for an active holiday on bike, on horseback, by boat, or with a golf club or a fishing rod in the hand.
Eastern Møn. When you have passed through the eastern town gate of Stege, you are on your way to Møns Klint (Cliffs of Møn) located on the eastern part of Møn. Nature in this part of the island is unique, especially the chalk cliffs, but also the open agricultural landscape dominated by Klintholm Gods (estate) is worth a visit.
The holiday homes of Eastern Møn are not – like in many other places - to find in groups in special summer holiday areas – they are spread over the fantastic landscape. Many of them are rather old country houses, but renovated with a lot of charm and character.
Several villages in this area offer fine facilities for both tourists and local residents – in Klintholm Havn you will find a grocer’s shop, a fishing harbour, a mini market and some good restaurants. In Borre you will find Dagli’ Brugsen (super market), the baker’s as well as two fillings stations and a play ground made by the inhabitants themselves.
In the eastern part of Møn you have most of the landmarks of the island within cycling range. The most interesting nature phenomenon are the white chalk cliffs, rising sheer from the turquoise green sea, the wood called Klinteskoven and the protected common areas, the Castle park of Liselund, Kelby and Elmelunde Church with its fantastic frescoes, prehistoric tombs and the harbour of Klintholm (Klintholm Havn), original and busy fishing harbour.
Western Møn. Smiling landscapes with small woods and undulating hills – and you are never far away from the beautiful sea - that’s Western Møn.
Even if the most important attractions are found on Eastern Møn, also Western Møn has a lot to offer the tourist: Beautiful nature, different coastal landscapes and cosy local communities with friendly people, interesting shops, fine facilities and a lot of local colour.
At Hårbølle you will find one of the most beautiful beaches of the island.
